How to Savor Wine?(1)

Step 1: Control the temperature of red wine. Traditionally, the temperature for drinking red wine is cool room temperature, between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius (white wine is between 9 and 12 degrees Celsius). At this temperature, red wines of all ages are in the best condition. A bottle of iced red wine has more distinct tannin characteristics than a bottle of cool room temperature red wine, so the taste is more astringent. White wine, on the contrary, is refreshing and sour and therefore suitable for drinking after freezing. The correct way to drink is to pinch the pillar of the goblet with your finger instead of holding the goblet with your hand. Otherwise, the different temperature of the wine will affect the coordination of the wine.

Step 2: Wake up. A bottle of dusty wine for many years, just opened when there will be a bad smell, then need to “wake up” this wine. When the wine is poured into a delicate sobering device and stayed for ten minutes, the odor of the wine will dissipate. Alcohol soberers generally require the greatest contact area between alcohol and air. When red wine is fully oxidized, its rich aroma is revealed. This process can be prolonged for an hour, which is the best way to create a fragrant atmosphere.
