The difference of four kinds of cortex

Sheepskin

The pores on the leather surface are oblate, small and arranged in fish scales. Generally, several pores form a group. The leather is soft and elastic.

pigskin

The pores on the surface of pigskin are round and thick, which are inclined to penetrate into the leather. The pores are generally arranged in a group of three pores. There are many small triangles on the surface of pigskin, with poor elasticity and thick skin.

cowhide

The surface pores of cattle hide are round, compact and even; the pores on the surface of buffalo hide are larger than those of cattle hide, but the number of pores is rare, and the texture is not as fine as that of cattle hide.

Horsehide

The pores on the surface of horse hide are flat and round, which is clearer than sheepskin. The leather is hard, and the pores are arranged regularly. The pores are arranged in a group, and the hand feel is thick and hard.
