The difference of four kinds of leather

Different types of leather have different characteristics and uses. Por exemplo, cow leather with thin surface and high strength is the most suitable for making leather shoes; sheepskin leather is light, thin and soft, which is the ideal fabric for leather clothing; pig leather has good air permeability, water permeability and vapor permeability.

Pigskin

The pores on the surface of pigskin are round and thick, which are inclined to extend into the leather. The pores are arranged in a group of three, and the leather surface presents many small triangle patterns

Leather

Cattle leather and buffalo leather are both called cattle leather, but there are some differences between them. The pores on the surface of yellow cattle leather are round and extend straightly into the leather. The pores are close and even, arranged irregularly, like stars in the sky. The surface pores of buffalo leather are larger than that of cattle leather, the number of pores is less than that of cattle leather, the leather quality is looser, and it is not as fine and full as cattle leather.

Horse leather

The hair on the surface of horse leather is also oval, slightly larger than that of cattle leather, with regular arrangement.

Sheepskin

The pores on the grain surface of sheepskin are flat and round, and the pores are clear. Several of them form a group, arranged in the shape of fish scales.
